Along the way, Black Knight struggles with his feelings for Crystal, Hercules gets entangled with his family's schemes once more, the Grim Reaper brings sorcerous powers to bear against the team, and the Starjammers seek revenge for the events of Operation Galactic Storm. The issues included are Avengers 131-132, 352 - 354, Annual 16, Giant Size Avengers 3, Avengers West Coast 61, Avengers Vol. The rest of this volume follows the team of Black Widow, Hercules, Black Knight, Crystal, Vision, Sersi and Thor (Eric Masterson) as they repeatedly clash with the machinations of the mysterious and menacing Preservers - a storyline that sadly will not be paid off until the next Epic, happily released later in the year.
